ACADEMIC SCHOLAR - CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

UB Family Medicine (aka UBMD Primary Care) and the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is seeking full time faculty members.  UBMD Primary Care physicians are responsible for maintaining an active clinical practice at an ambulatory clinic and/or designated hospital.  Responsibilities include:  Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury; order, perform and interpret tests and analyze records, reports and examination information to diagnose patients’ condition(s); coordinate timely follow up of patient requests for services regarding prescription requests, referrals, diagnostic testing and appointments for sick visits; and supervise nurse practitioner(s) and/or physician assistant(s), when applicable and required.  Must have active NYS medical license, valid DEA registration, board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, completion of graduate medical education program and completion of residency training program. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship

Salary range $200k to $220k depending on location and number of clinical sessions.  AA/EOE
